Lefkada has many picturesque villages settled by the ocean as well as a few traditional villages up in the mountains.
Agios Nikitas is one of the few villages on the western seaside of Lefkada, tucked in the hills and greenery.
The lovely village of Exanthia is the meeting place for paragliders. It is a quiet, peaceful place, offering an escape from the hustle and bustle of life.
The small romantic harbour town of Sivota rests in the south of the island with a few tavernas serving the fresh catch of the day.
Vlicho in Lefkada is a lovely, quite charming coastal village. The village lies around a natural bay where fishing boats moor.
On the northern tip of the island, Lefkada Town is the enchanting waterfront capital of Lefkada. The town, with its characteristic architectural style, its narrow lanes, well cared for courtyards and delightfully unspoiled aristocratic charm is worthwhile visiting.
With beautiful shades of blue and shallow waters, Anse Royale on the Southeast coast is a long and easy to access beach. White sand and lush tropical sceneries in the background offer a perfect place to relax and recharge, enjoying the peace and quiet.
